1. General Provisions

1.1 Contracting Party

1.2 Validity of Terms

These terms and conditions apply exclusively. Deviating, conflicting or supplementary terms and conditions of the customer do not become part of the contract unless their validity is expressly agreed to in writing.

2. Boat License Courses

2.1 Course Registration

Registration for our boat courses is done in writing or online. By registering, the participant acknowledges these terms and conditions.

2.2 Payment Terms

The course fee is due for payment upon registration. Installment payment is possible by arrangement.

2.3 Withdrawal

Withdrawal is possible free of charge up to 14 days before the course starts. After that, 50% of the course fee will be charged as cancellation costs.

3. Boat License Issuance

3.1 Prerequisites

• Successfully completed boat course at BlueWaveHH
• Minimum age 16 years
• Valid ID card or passport
• Current passport photo

3.2 Processing Time

Processing of the application usually takes 7 business days after receipt of all required documents.

4. Boat Rental

4.1 Rental Requirements

• Valid boat license according to boat category
• Minimum age 18 years
• Deposit: €500-1000 depending on boat size
• Valid ID card or passport

4.2 Rental Times

• Half day: 4 hours
• Full day: 8 hours
• Pickup: from 9:00 AM
• Return: by 6:00 PM

4.3 Liability and Insurance

All boats are fully insured with a deductible of €250. The renter is liable for damages caused by gross negligence or intent.

5. Day Trips

5.1 Booking

Day trips can be booked online or by phone. The number of participants is limited.

5.2 Cancellation

Cancellations are possible free of charge up to 48 hours before the start. For later cancellations, the full participation fee will be charged.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 General Liability

BlueWaveHH is only liable for damages based on intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded, unless life, body or health are affected.

6.2 Force Majeure

BlueWaveHH is not liable for service disruptions due to force majeure, especially in extreme weather conditions.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. The right of withdrawal expires for services when BlueWaveHH has completely performed the service and only began performing the service after the consumer gave their express consent.

8. Data Protection

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our privacy policy, which can be viewed at /en/privacy-policy.

9. Final Provisions

9.1 Applicable Law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

9.2 Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Hamburg, provided the customer is a merchant or has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany.
